Bibich Sangreal  2004 
A dry, dark red wine made of syrah grapes picked from 40 year old vines from the fertile vineyards of Nadin near Zadar and produced by the Bibich Winery in Skradin on Croatia's Dalmatian Coast. Aged for 18 months in French Oak. The aromas recall spices, green pepper, peppermint and dark berry fruits with potent ripe tannins. Suitable to age for decades. Serve with lamb, game, dark spicy sauces and aged cheeses. This is the crown jewel in the Bibich collection. Wine maker Alan Bibich' favorite wine.
